First Home Exemption

The First Home Owners Stamp Exemption is a VAT Duty Exemption application that can be made by First Time Home Owners, for VAT duty exemptions on their conveyance and mortgage instruments, relative to the acquisition of their first-time dwelling home.

Full Exemption is considered VAT ZERO Rating

Partial Exemption is considered VAT Taxable on a percentage

Who is eligible?

  1. Any Bahamian 18 years or older
  2. First Time Homeowners
