Okay, ThanksProvisional licences are now available for what the Department of Inland Revenue has termed “low-risk” businesses. Low-risk businesses include home-based businesses, sole proprietors and other small businesses in non-regulated sectors.
During the Business Licence application process, businesses are required to select their “type of business” according to categories preset in the Online Tax Administration System (OTAS). The comprehensive list below, details categories in OTAS that are filtered as low risk and therefore eligible for a provisional licence, and those that are not.
